<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable users to be capable of ascertaining notable contents keeping them high in image quality without increasing a communication network in traffic. <P>SOLUTION: A video conference terminal device 1 transmits/receives image signals and sound signals through the intermediary of a communication network 2 to hold a video conference. The video conference terminal device 1 is equipped with an image sensing device 11 that produces image signals by photographing an object, an image processing unit 13 that converts image signals to signal form corresponding to the communication network 2 and outputs it, a microphone 14 that generates sound signals corresponding to the volume of sound by detecting sounds timing with imaging, a sound processing unit 16 which converts the sound signals to signal form corresponding to the communication network 2 and outputs it, and an operation unit 51 that increases or decreases the data volume of image signals outputted from an image output means on the basis of the sound volume of the sound signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
