PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal material which can solve problems of corrosion resistance, workability, etc. and can improve both of the performances by perceiving an urethane type resin film as surface treatment material substitutable for chromate treatment material, and is advantageous in operability and cost on account of the monolayer treatment, and to provide a manufacturing method of the coated metal material. SOLUTION: In the coated metal material which has the urethane type resin film essentially comprising polyurethane resin on metal material, a contact angle with water at 20°C of the urethane type resin film is at least 60°and the excellent corrosion resistance is exhibited.
