PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a power supply for a charger by improving the adjustment of voltage at a cable edge outside the casing of a power supply at low costs without any costs related to a detection technique. SOLUTION: The technique is disclosed for adjusting the power supply having a compensation signal generation circuit. The adjustment power supply of one example includes a detection circuit connected so that the output voltage of the adjustment power supply is detected. The adjustment power supply also includes a switching power transducer circuit. The circuit includes a switch connected while the switch is changed in response to a control signal received from a detection circuit to adjust the output voltage of the adjustment power supply. The adjustment power supply includes the compensation signal generation circuit connected while a switching signal is received as indicating the switching of the switch in the switching power transducer circuit. The compensation signal generation circuit responds to the switching signal to generate a compensation signal.
