摘要 Disclosed is a dosing apparatus (1) comprising a feeding device (4) for a liquid or pasty medium (2), which supplies the medium at a given preliminary pressure (P<SUB>0</SUB>). Said dosing apparatus (1) further comprises a pressure control valve (6) that is fluidically connected to the feeding device (2), a dosing pump (10), particularly a gear pump, which is fluidically connected to the pressure control valve (6), a driving motor (12) that drives the dosing pump (10), a discharge valve (18) which is fluidically connected to the dosing pump (10) and via which the medium (2) is discharged as a volume flow (J) modifiable over time, and a control and regulation mechanism (28) which feeds a control signal (S) to the pressure control valve (6) in accordance with a predefined setpoint volume flow value (J<SUB>soll</SUB>). The inventive dosing apparatus is characterized by a first pressure sensor (24) detecting the input pressure (P<SUB>E</SUB>) of the medium (2) upstream from the dosing pump (10), a second pressure sensor (26) detecting the output pressure (P<SUB>A</SUB>) of the medium (2) downstream from the dosing pump (10), a comparative unit (32) which is contained in the control and regulation mechanism (28) and compares the pressure values (P<SUB>E</SUB>, P<SUB>A</SUB>) detected by the first and second pressure sensor (26, 28) with each other, and a control unit (34) that is contained in the control and regulation mechanism (28) and modifies the control signal (S) fed to the pressure control valve (6) in such a way that the difference between the first pressure value (P<SUB>E</SUB>) and the second pressure value (P<SUB>A</SUB>) corresponds to a given value, especially zero. Also disclosed are an industrial robot (110) encompassing such a dosing apparatus (1) as well as a method for controlling such a dosing apparatus (1).
