PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual tool wherein only rachet is simply exchanged when the rachet is chipped or worn away, eliminating the need of exchanging the whole of a grip or disposing a tool itself, and a rachet is inexpensively repaired. SOLUTION: The manual tool comprises: a pair of grips 2, 3 journaled to a journaling shaft 1 so as to open/close; and pressing elements 5, 5 rotatably journaled at tip end portions of the grips 2, 3 and rotatably journaled to a coupling plate 4. The pressing elements 5, 5 cooperate to open/close by opening/closing action of grips 2, 3. A rachet plate 9 forming a rachet 8 of an arc-shape about the journaling shaft 1 is detachably attached to the grip 2, and a rotating element 11 having a hook 10 which is engaged with the rachet 8 is journaled to the grip 3.
