<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic device excellent in high frequency characteristics and a switching power source using it. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic device is a wound body of a laminate provided with a ribbon-like magnetic body layer and a conductor layer arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction. Also, it is preferable that the magnetization easy direction of the ribbon-like magnetic body layer matches with an outline conductor layer longitudinal direction. Also, the gap of the wound body may be filled with the mixture of a magnetic material and a resin. Then, an amorphous ribbon is preferable for the ribbon-like magnetic body layer.
