PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for applying to metal surface, excellent in optical properties, causing no corrosion of metal surface even if directly applied to the metal surface and easily releasable from metal surface in making a rework. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is such that the adhesive layer comprises 80-98 wt.%, based on the total amount of monomer components, of the (a) component described below and 2-20 wt.%, based on the total amount of the monomer components, of the (b) component described below and is formed from an adhesive composition with a copolymer as base polymer that is obtained from a monomer mixture containing no carboxyl-containing copolymerizable monomer. The (a) component is an acrylic monomer of formula(1):CH<SB>2</SB>=C(R<SP>1</SP>)COOR<SP>2</SP>( wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is H or methyl; and R<SP>2</SP>is a 2-14C alkyl ).
