MULTISTAGE ROTARY EXPANDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient multistage rotary expander having inexpensive construction for preventing the leakage of operating fluid by increasing differential pressure on a first vane to prevent the dissociation of the front end from a piston. SOLUTION: The multistage rotary expander is constructed so that the rocking motion average position of the contact point of the first piston with the front end side of the first vane 301 is set on a suction side beyond the cross center of the first vane 301. Thus, a R-shaped face 301a on the front end side of the first vane 301 has an area where pressure in an operation chamber 215b on a discharge side operates, larger than an area where pressure in an operation chamber 215a on the suction side operates, and differential pressure between the front end side and the back face side of the first vane 301 is increased. This prevents the leakage of the operating fluid due to the dissociation of the front end of the first vane 301 from the first piston 209. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
