PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto which has a flywheel whose processing cost is low and besides whose processing time is short, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This magneto is equipped with a flywheel 3 which is pressed into cut form and a plurality of magnets 4 which are provided at the internal perimetrical face of the flywheel 3, and is provided with a plurality of reluctance projections 11 for detection of rotation signal, at the peripheral face of the flywheel.
