PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic operation device in which an operator easily stops an operation member, at a specified position when the operating amount of the operation member is very small, and the physical fatigue of the operator is fully reduced in the operation range of the operation member as a whole. SOLUTION: This hydraulic operation device comprises an control lever 5, a selector valve 14, a rod 9 interposed between the control lever 5 and the selector valve 14 and operating a spool 18 by receiving an operation force given thereto by the control lever 5, and a return spring 11 biasing the rod 9 to the initial position. The rod 9 comprises a pressure-receiving surface 22, and the pressure-receiving surface 22 comprises an oil path 23 for guiding the pressure P<SB>0</SB>of an output port 17, and the rod 9 is pressed against the spring force Fs of the return spring 11 by the pressure P<SB>0</SB>.
