The method involves transferring additional data (A) to a control unit (2) of an exposure unit via a local allocation of partial areas with different raster systems on a printing form (6) to be illustrated. The illustration of the printing form is carried out with the help of mechanical and/or optical parameters, such that a value of the mechanical and/or optical parameter adapts for each partial area with the available raster system on the printing form to be illustrated.
