The invention concerns a method for bending glass sheets comprising layers modifying their thermal properties. The bending method particularly concerns glass sheets comprising at least one infrared reflecting layer, some parts of said sheets being free of said layer. The invention is characterized in that first the uniformly coated sheets are subjecting to bending, and, then the sheets bearing the uniform reflecting layer are subjected to local elimination of the layer in the parts which should be free thereof.
