<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly effective internal gear expander that can be applied to a heat engine cycle such as a power generation cycle. <P>SOLUTION: The internal gear expander has an outer rotor 20 having inner teeth 21, an inner rotor 10 rotatably arranged in the outer rotor and having an outer teeth 11 meshing with the inner teeth, a rotor shaft threaded through the shaft hole 12 in the inner rotor and rotatably supporting the inner rotor, and a rotor casing 30 housing the inner rotor and the outer rotor.
