<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for performing the volume reduction and solidification of waste such as foamed polystyrene or the like so as to make the storage or transport of the waste convenient, to impart a structure for automatically stopping the supply of water when the operation of the apparatus is stopped and to change the supply amount of water corresponding to various wastes while performing stable molding. SOLUTION: A water tank 15 is provided under a screw body 30 and the water W stored in the water tank 15 is successively taken out by foamed polystyrene or the like fed by the screw body 30 and a water absorbing block 41 sucking up water by a capillary phenomenon is provided in the water tank 15 and the corresponding area of the water absorbing block 41 is increased and decreased to regulate the taken-out amount of water W.</p> |
