<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation apparatus of Raman scattering light capable of inexpensively and simply separating fluorescence and Raman scattering light from a fluorescence emitting observation target like biological tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The incoherent light of a light source 11 turns into beams of band-pass light of a narrow band with center wavelengthsλ<SB>1</SB>andλ<SB>2</SB>by successively arranging the filters F1 and F2 provided on a rotated rotary filter 14 and a living body 2 is alternately irradiated with the band-pass lights so as to leave a time interval. The Raman scattering light component containing the fluorescence radiated from the living body 2 is detected by a detector 24 through a band-pass filter 22 to be stored in a pair of the signal memories 27 and 28 in a signal processor 5. Then, the signals read from the signal memories 27 and 28 are subjected to differential processing by a differential processing circuit 29 and a fluorescent component is removed to separate and extract the signal component of Raman scattering light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
