PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for swap processing of peripheral modules, which solves problems that security for data stored in a peripheral module cannot be secured so that applications on a system board receive adverse effects in conventional pullout processing methods for peripheral modules built in with a CPU and can realize safe hot swap. SOLUTION: When a CPU 12 of the peripheral module 10 notifies a system module 20 of a pullout request, a CPU 22 of the system module 20 deletes driver information of the peripheral module 10 to logically disconnect it from the system. In addition, the CPU 22 stops active applications, and then notifies the peripheral module 10 of the operations. After the CPU 12 of the peripheral module 10 performs shutdown processing for the OS and the shutdown is completed, a power supply management means turns on an LED indicator 14.
