<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-resisting protein, a gene encoding the protein and the utilization thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The calcium-dependent protein-phosphorylating enzyme derived from a potato plant, and the gene encoding the enzyme are provided. The calcium-dependent protein-phosphorylating enzyme is the enzyme deeply concerning with information transmission of a protective system of a plant, and enables disease resistance to be introduced to the plant by introducing the gene encoding the calcium-dependent protein-phosphorylating enzyme because the enzyme binds with a suppressor of a pathogenic bacterium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
