<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support monitoring of three-dimensional (3-D) multi-camera video by an immersive 3-D environment from 2-D display. <P>SOLUTION: A 3-D multi-camera video monitoring supporting system of the present invention comprises a content analysis module, a background differential module, a motion tracking module, a blending module, and a rendering module. The content analysis module detects and divides a moving object in video streams from a plurality of cameras, the motion tracking module tracks the moving object of the video streams, the blending module intensifies a foreground region of said video streams by alpha blending, and the rendering module integrates 3-D semantic layout and the video streams after alpha mixing into the 3-D immersive environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
