PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving system equipped with a video display unit by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A receiving device 3 is equipped with a digital circuit portion 13 which converts a compressed digital signal which is outputted from a digital demodulation portion 12 to a digital image and a voice signal, and a video image voice output circuit 14 which converts the digital image and the voice signal outputted from the digital circuit portion 13 to the video image and voice signal of analog. By this, it is not necessary to mount a video image speech processing IC for a digital signal processing in a video display unit 4, and a receiving system is obtained using the video display unit of the simple configuration.
