PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus which displays a program possible to be extended so that an extension possibility can be recognized in a broadcast schedule to be displayed based on electronic program information. SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus causes a first determination means to determine a presence of extension possibility of broadcast time for a program to be displayed based on the received electric program information, causes a second determination means to determine whether or not the broadcast time is actually extended for the program which has extension possibility determined by the first determination means, determines an attribution of the program as a determination target based on determination results of the first and second determination means, detects a related program relating to the program which has been broadcast whose attribution has been determined from among programs displayed based on the electric program information, and changes a display method, for example, a display color of the broadcast schedule relating to the detected related program based on the attribution which has been determined for the related program.
