<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive pellet capable of remarkably lengthening the life of a lead-acid battery. <P>SOLUTION: The additive pellet immersed in an electrolyte mainly comprising dilute sulfuric acid of a lead-acid battery is comprised of an envelope and an organic polymer, the organic polymer has a function rasing hydrogen overpotential of a negative electrode in charging by dissolving in the electrolyte, and the envelope has a diffusion control means to the electrolyte in which the organic polymer is dissolved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
