A method for maintaining a connection between a terminal device and a service, and a terminal device capable of using two or more access methods for setting up a connection between the terminal device (10) and a service (40), the terminal device (10) being configured to set up a first connection to the service (40) by using a first access method and on an APN (Access Point Name) corresponding to the service and to set up a second connection to the service (40) by using a second access method and an APN (Access Point Name) corresponding to the service, the APN being the same as the one used in the first connection.
