The device has two or three dimensional acceleration sensor (12) provided for translatory acceleration of a pen. An interface (16) is provided for transmission of data to the computer, which corresponds to the sequential determined acceleration values. A microprocessor (11) is provided in the pen for scanning and processing of measuring values of the sensor. A memory is provided in the pen for intermediate storage of data.
