<p>A method for diagnosing calcium deficiency of cabbage is provided to diagnose the calcium deficiency symptom of brassica crops including cabbage at the initial stage. The method comprises the steps of: (a) isolating total RNA from leaves of cabbage which is at least 5 days passed after seeding; (b) synthesizing cDNA from the isolated total RNA; (c) performing RT-PCR on the synthesized cDNA using a primer described in SEQ ID : NOs. 2 and 3 including both terminal sequences of a nucleotide sequence(SEQ ID : NO. 1) of BcPKP1; and (d) analyzing the reaction solution after the completion of the PCR to determine whether it includes a DNA fragment including the nucleotide sequence(SEQ ID : NO. 1) of BcPKP1.</p> |
