PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch clip device which is not as bulky as a padlock and is capable of locking without causing a sliding-contact sound. SOLUTION: The catch clip device includes a base 13 formed with a latch-receiving part 13d and closely contacted with a housing body 31, a receiving member 11 attached to a top 30, an operation lever 14 rotatably attached to the base via a first spindle 18 and forming a slit 14i for inserting a key 32, a latch member 16 stored in the operation lever and capable of sliding for being attached to and detached from the latch-receiving part, an elastic member 17 provided in the operation lever for biasing the latch member in the direction to be engaged with the latch-receiving part and furthermore a hook 15 whose base end is pivotally supported by a second spindle 19 and whose top end is engaged with the receiving member so as to pull the top toward the housing body to be closely contacted when rotating the operation lever in the direction to approach the base.
