PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding drum designing method and a molding drum designing device capable of designing a desired molding drum in a short period of time and without requiring a skilled sense even when a designer differs. SOLUTION: At least a step 1 to set an outside diameter A<SB>1</SB>of a crown part by an outside diameter A of an air bag, to set width B<SB>1</SB>of the crown part by width B of an outer peripheral surface of the air bag and to set an outside diameter C<SB>1</SB>of a bottom part by an inside diameter C of a tube constituting the air bag and a step 2 to set a crossed axes angleθwhich is an angle at which a slope part and the bottom part cross with an end part E of the crown part as an origin are included.
