<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of uniformly browning the both surfaces of a hamburger. <P>SOLUTION: This device 16 for browning the hamburger is provided with a first heating device 20 simultaneously heating a first face of the hamburger 12 and a second face opposite thereto and forming first browns respectively, a second heating device 22 heating the first face of the hamburger 12 formed with the first brown by the first heating device 20 and forming a second brown, a third heating means 24 heating the second face of the hamburger 12, which is formed with the second brown on the first face by the second heating device 22, and forming a third brown, and a conveying device 28 conveying the hamburger 12 from the first heating device 20 to the third heating device 24 via the second heating device 22.
