The invention relates to the branch of machine building and can be used in universal joints of shafts for angle drive of torque. A universal joint contains contacting between them over spherical surfaces a detachable holder and a head of shaft made with grooves, in which are radially placed elastic connecting links, which transfer the torque, with spherical heads. The grooves in the holder are made in the form of spherical cavities connected with internal surface of holder by extended channels. Grooves in the head of shaft are made in the form of cylindrical channels located in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the hinge, in which are placed with possibility of axial displacement cylindrical inserts connected together in the plane, which extends through the longitudinal axis of the hinge. Spherical cavities connected to external surface of inserts by extended channels are made inside the inserts. Connecting links by spherical heads are mounted in the spherical cavities of holder and inserts of the head of shaft with possibility of turning. Centers of the spherical cavities of holder and inserts of the head of shaft connected to one and the same connecting links are displaced relative to each other for the angle g in the direction of transfer of torque in the plane, which extends through the center of spherical surface of the holder and perpendicular to its longitudinal axis.
