<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layer optical recording medium wherein reflectance of reflection light from a second recording layer can be ≥15% when the second recording layer is irradiated with recording and reproducing laser light. <P>SOLUTION: A first intermediate body A is formed by sequentially laminating a first recording layer 3 and a first reflection layer 4 on a light transmissive first substrate 2. A second intermediate layer B is formed by sequentially laminating a second reflection layer 10 and a second recording layer 8 on a second substrate 11. In the optical recording medium 1 wherein the first intermediate body A and the second intermediate body B are stuck to each other via a light transmissive adhesive layer 6 so that the first reflection layer 4 and the second recording layer 8 are disposed opposite to each other and recording and reproduction of the first and the second recording layers 3 and 8 are performed by irradiation with laser light for recording and reproduction from the first substrate 2 side, a shape adjusting layer adjusting the irregularity of a bottom surface of the second recording layer 8 to be ≤5 nm is formed between the second reflection layer 10 and the second recording layer 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
