PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging device which reduces a reflecting light in the front surface of a microlens and the front surface of a region where the microlens is not arranged and which has high reliability corresponding to lead free reflow. SOLUTION: The solid state imaging device includes a light receiving section 2 which receives the light, a color filter 4 formed on the light receiving section 2, and a microlens 7a formed on the color filter 4 in two dimensions on a substrate 1.
