PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an endoscope, which is allowed to be used at a high temperature with a structure simpler than conventional that without increase in diameter of a front end part of an insertion part of the endoscope, and the endoscope. SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 for endoscopes includes; a supply source 6 of cooling air (cooling fluid) for cooling the front end part 5 of the insertion part of of an insertion part 3 which an endoscope 2 has; a tube 10 which has a fitting part 7 to be fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the front end part 5 of the insertion part and a flow passage 8 for flow of air, disposed on an inner peripheral surface thereof and is fitted to the outside of the front end part 5 of the insertion part; and an air supply path 11 connected to the supply source 6 and the flow passage 8.
