<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably lead out the quantity of consumption articles required for the printing of advertisement images in a system for printing out advertisement images of various image sizes. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunction machine receives output data expressing general images (non-advertisement images) and advertisement images from an application server, prints out the output data and forms the general images and the advertisement images on a sheet of paper. In this case, the multifunction machine totalizes (S601) the number of pixels in each printed advertisement images in each color and calculates (S609) the occupied ratio of the printed advertisement images on the sheet of paper. The number of pixels in each color is described in the totalized data as the consumption of the color material, the occupied ratio of the advertisement images is described as the consumption of the sheet of paper and the totalized data are stored in a buffer.
