<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform in-company unified management of an editing, storage and a disclosure state of a document to efficient perform information sharing and reuse with an in-company other station by the document. <P>SOLUTION: This document management system 11 comprises: an editing file sharing server 12 storing editing document data; a storing file sharing server 13 performing storage and disclosure of the document data edited and completed on the editing file sharing server 12; a document management database 14 recording whereabouts of the document to be stored and disclosed; and a plurality of data-editing PCs 15, 15, etc. performing the editing of the document data. All of them are connected to an intranet 16.
