<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an instant rice cake for forming a similar rice cake to a rectangularly cut rice cake toasted with attached soy sauce by heating for approximately 1 min by a microwave oven. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the instant rice cake is provided by washing a raw material obtained by adding regular rice to glutinous rice with water and then steaming, pounding the steamed raw material with a pounding machine for processing as a rice cake state, forming as a semi-cylindrical form, cutting the semi-cylindrical form raw material into 2-8 cm width sliced/diced rice cake form, freezing them at ≤-20°C temperature, thawing by immersing the frozen sliced/diced rice cake-formed raw material into water for 1-3 days, removing water of the sliced/diced rice cake-formed raw material thawed by immersing with water by a low flame, toasting further for 20-30 min by a moderate flame, adding seasonings such as the soy sauce, etc., to the toasted rice cake raw material in their warm state and then re-freezing at ≤-20°C in a freezer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
