MOBILE TERMINAL DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search peripheral devices existing around a mobile terminal device and display positional information such as a direction wherein the peripheral devices exist and a distance from the peripheral devices in an easily understandable way so as to improve usability for a user and relieve a load imposed on the user.

SOLUTION: Upon receipt of a searching list from a wireless communication section 103, a display control section 114 acquires a corresponding icon from an icon table stored in a storage section 101 on the basis of a model identifier of the searching list and controls the display of the icon on the basis of the positional information of the searching list. The display control of the icon on the basis of the positional information determines a display position of the icon depending on the direction included in the positional information and a display size of the icon on the basis of the distance included in the positional information.
