The proposed broadband microwave balanced mixer contains a slot waveguide resonator. The resonator contains strip conductors, a slot transmission line, a coplanar transmission line, a strip transmission line, semiconductor diodes, which are inserted in the section of the slot transmission line, and a reactive element, which is arranged perpendicular to the axis of the slot transmission line and connected to the strip conductors.
