PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unifiedly manage the installation states and the uninstallation states of personal computers in an organization by a software manager. SOLUTION: This installation information management system is provided with: information acquisition programs 11 operated by personal computers 1, started when starting installers 10a or uninstallers 10b and acquiring and transmitting information related to software information to be installed or uninstalled and information related to the personal computers 1; an information management program 21 operated by a management server 2, acquiring the information transmitted from the information acquisition programs 11 and recording and managing them in an information retaining section 16: and is characterized in unifiedly managing the installation states and the uninstallation states of the personal computers 1 by the management server 2.
