A hollow piston (1) extends into a large suction cup (2) at its upper end accommodating a soft funnel-shaped insert (8) to be attached to the breast. The piston (1) is guided inside a cylinder (18) provided with a thread (21) at its upper edge for being joined to a lid or nipple and with a double-lip sealing element (14) located between the lower end of the piston (1) and the cylinder (18). A vacuum is created when the user pulls at the cylinder (18). Excess pressure is released from a valve (22) at one side of the suction cup (2).
