The device has an intake part (10) and a connecting body (1) that is provided between a reflector unit (8) and the intake part. The body is pivotably fastened directly or indirectly at the reflector unit. The body comprises a guiding unit (5) that is directed to the intake part and to a side turned away from the reflector unit. The guiding unit operates as assembly assistance during fastening of the reflector unit at the intake part. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle headlight with a fastening device.
