摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat sensitive lithographic printing plate capable of being directly engraved from digital data by image-like exposure of an infrared ray or the like by providing a hydrophilic heat sensitive layer having a crosslinked structure for crosslinking a polymer having an onium base changing from hydrophilicity into a lipophilicity by a heat and a crosslinkable group on a support. SOLUTION: A hydrophilic heat sensitive layer having a crosslinked structure for crosslinking a polymer having an onium base changing from hydrophilicity into a lipophilicity by a heat and a crosslinkable group is provided on a support. Then, the layer is formed by coating an upper surface of the support with the polymer having the onium base (thermally decomposable group) changing from the hydrophilicity into the lipophilicity by the heat and the crosslinkable group, and then reacting the crosslinkable group to give the crosslinked structure to the heat sensitive layer. The particularly effectively usable polymer has an ammonium base or preferably a pyridinium base as the onium (the decomposable group), and a photocrosslinkable group as the crosslinkable group.
