An improved tuning circuit for a tuner is provided to improve a characteristic of the tuner by reducing a characteristic deviation of a variable diode according to a temperature change. An improved tuning circuit for a tuner includes a couple of variable diodes(D1,D2), and a capacitor(C). The couple of variable diodes(D1,D2) are connected to each other in series, and increase a tuning voltage by reducing a total capacitance value. The capacitor(C) is not sensitive to a temperature change by being connected to the couple of variable diodes(D1,D2) in parallel. The improved tuning circuit for the tuner improves a characteristic of the tuner by reducing a change of the capacitance value according to the temperature change. When the capacitance values of the couple of variable diodes(D1,D2) are C1 and C2, the total capacitance value is described by an equation that is Ct = C1xC2/(C1+C2). |
