PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire mounting device being a mounting device of a wire for inserting and mounting a terminal fixed at a tip of the wire into/to a terminal opening for terminal insertion formed in a connector when the connector as a connection unit connected to an electric apparatus or another wire is held at a predetermined position, and allowing positioning to the connector as adjustment to be carried out without manual work; and to provide a measurement structure therefor. SOLUTION: This device has a projecting part for projecting the terminal to the terminal opening and a measurement part for previously measuring the positional relationship between the projected terminal and the terminal opening used as a projecting target therefor. The device has a reference opening for inserting the terminal of the wire therein by the projecting part and a measurement means for measuring the position of the terminal in the reference opening by relatively moving the inserted terminal so as to bring it into contact with the inside surface of the reference opening.
