PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting tool which reduces noise, while maintaining high versatility, and also to provide an impact tool provided with the connecting tool. SOLUTION: The connecting tool 15 for connecting: a distal end tool 4 of the impact tool for transmitting rotating power from a motor to an impact mechanism part via a deceleration mechanism part and intermittently transmitting rotary impact force generated in the impact mechanism part to the distal end tool 4; and the impact mechanism part (anvil 3), is constituted by fitting a socket adapter (first adapter) 16 attachably/detachably mounted on the anvil 3 and a bit adapter (second adapter) 17 for attachably/detachably mounting the distal end tool 4 and interposing an elastic body 18 in the fitting part. The elastic body 18 is constituted of an integrally formed bottomed cylindrical body, and is interposed in axial direction and rotating direction of the fitting part of the socket adapter 16 and the bit adapter 17.
