<p>A water purification device in which a water purification effect by a water purifier placed on the water surface is enhanced. In the water purifier, the surface of a mass having translucency and water permeability is coated with photocatalyst having a water purification effect, and the water purifier is placed in the vicinity of a water surface. The water purification device has a convection device for causing forced convection of water and an ultraviolet ray irradiation device for forcibly irradiating the water purifier with UV-rays. The water purification device is placed in a meshed frame body having in its upper part an opening. Further, a float for holding the water purifier on the water surface is placed on the periphery of the water purifier.</p> |
