摘要 <p>A lesion is accurately detected from a head image. A specific blood vessel portion can be intensively observed. A medical image processor (10) extracts a brain blood vessel region from an MRA image created by imaging a head, and a GC filter bank carries out a primary detection by using the image from which the brain blood vessel region is extracted. An analysis bank of the GC filter bank makes multiresolution analysis to calculate the vector concentration index from a partial image for each resolution level. A weighted image in which voxels having a vector concentration index above a threshold are given a weight of 1 and those having vector concentration index equal to or less than the threshold are given a weight of 0. A reconstruction bank carries out weighting by multiplying each partial image by the weighted image and reconstructs the original image by using the weighted partial images. The averages of the size (volume), spherity, and vector concentration index of the blood vessel region reproduced in the reconstructed image are calculated, and secondary detection is conducted by the rule base method. Tertiary detection of the secondary detection candidate is conducted by the judgment analysis. The result of the detection is outputted and displayed on a display section (13).</p>
