<p>A condenser for vapor in a gaseous medium (GM), using air for cooling, is based on a divided housing (5, 6) for accumulating cold and receiving liquids and the GM. The lower housing part (5) receives condensate and scrubbing liquid, forming a fluidized layer (FL) (11) in the center. The upper part (6) receives the GM, forms a side boundary for the FL and is immersed in liquid in a plug connection with the lower part. A condenser for vapor supplied in a gaseous medium (GM), from which heat of condensation is abstracted by material exchange with air as cooling medium, comprises a divided housing (5, 6) for accumulation of cold and receiving liquids and the GM; and a ventilator (4), connected to the housing via tubing, for abstracting the GM. The lower part (5) of the housing receives condensate and scrubbing liquid, forming a fluidized layer (FL) (11) from liquid and the GM in the center; and the upper part (6), above the FL, receives the GM, forms a side boundary for the FL and is immersed in liquid in a releasable plug connection with the lower part to seal the housing from the exterior. Horizontal tubes in the FL have outlet openings for delivering and distributing GM in the FL and forming the FL; and are supplied with vapor (in the GM) and the cooling air via inlet pipes, causing material exchange in the FL and outflow through the upper part of the housing. The FL receives and stores the condensate and the heat of condensation. Heat is abstracted from the FL as vapor with the air, and after cooling the FL is suitable for receiving the condensate and the heat of condensation. An independent claim is included for a corresponding multipart housing for accumulating cold and forming a condenser as above.</p> |
