A universal joint comprises a first rotation guide member (20), a second rotation guide member (21) guided by the first rotation guide means (20) to be rotatable, and a third rotation guide member (22) guided by the second rotation guide member (21) to be rotatable. The first, second and third rotation guide means (20,21,22) being operatively connected through connection members (12,13) so as to provide three degrees of rotational freedom.
