<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester resin composition containing inorganic particles which have orientation birefringence, are needle-like or rod-like, and can control birefringence without reducing the light transmission of a transparent polymer resin, when existing in the transparent resin. <P>SOLUTION: This cellulose ester resin composition is characterized by comprising a cellulose ester resin substituted with only acetyl groups and having an acetyl group substitution degree of 2.50 to 3.00, and inorganic particles having negative birefringence. A mode wherein the inorganic particles are carbonate particles, a mode wherein the inorganic particles are formed by reacting a metal ion source with a carbonic acid source in a liquid, the metal ion source being at least one of Sr<SP>2+</SP>ion, Ca<SP>2+</SP>ion and Ba<SP>2+</SP>, and the like are preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
