<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always uniformize the luminance distribution of image that is actually projected, regardless of the projection state. <P>SOLUTION: The projector comprises a light source constituted of a reflector 28, and a light source lamp 29; a projection system including a projection encoder 24 for projecting by forming an optical image, based on the input image signal using the light from the light source, a micro mirror element 27, and a projection lens 12; a photographic system including a photographic lens 13 for photographing a projected image, a CCD39, and a process circuit 36; and a control unit 35 that detects luminance distribution from the photographed image and corrects the luminance distribution of the optical image formed by the micro mirror element 27, in accordance with the detected brightness distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
