MODULAR GAS CHROMATOGRAPH

The present invention is directed to a modular gas chromatograph having a display screen. The gas chromatograph includes an explosion-proof housing and a transparent panel secured to the housing. The display screen is disposed in the housing and is visible through the transparent panel. The gas chromatograph has a plurality of modules, including a feed-through module, an analytical module and a display module containing the display screen. The analytical module is mounted inside the housing and includes a GC module, a manifold module and an electronics module. The analytical module may be removed from the housing as a unit. The GC module includes a column assembly and a printed circuit board, both of which are mounted to a valve assembly. A plurality of electronic devices are mounted to the circuit board. The electronic devices include non-volatile memory, pressure sensors and detector devices.
